soooo concert last night. &&i think it went... well, decently.
in that busy part of sketches of spain, lindsay and the flutes all dropped out cause they couldn't play it and left me all alone. except i was expecting at least a couple of people to be playing it along with me, so i wasn't playing loud enough that the audience could hear me. so it probably sounded like everyone just stopped.
but whatever.
&&chelcee and i didn't screw up our solos! i was so afraid that, since i hadn't screwed up in a while, the one time i would mess up that B would be in the concert.
but neither of us did, so it's all good.
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT BAND I'M GOING TO BE IN NEXT YEAR!!!
i've been ranting about this for months. no joke. but since i'm not going to find out until next month, you people will have to deal. for a whole month. but yeah. i can't take symphonic, cause it conflicts with journalism, which i reallyreallyreally want to take. so symphonic isn't an option.
&&i asked mr. p about this whole thing, and he was like, "i don't think you're headed to seventh period band anyways."
which i'm sure he didn't mean to be all cryptic and stuff, but seriously. not to sound, like, cocky or anything, but i think i'm better than concert band. but wind ensemble?
yeah. right.
